Geodis Logistics, a global transport and logistics company, has announced significant layoffs at one of its New Jersey distribution centers. According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice filed with the state, the company plans to lay off 334 employees between July 31, 2025, and June 3, 2026.
This announcement follows a previous notice in January 2025, where Geodis disclosed plans to lay off 92 employees at the same facility, effective April 27, 2025. In total, these layoffs amount to 426 job losses at the Monroe Township location.
The layoffs are expected to have a significant impact on the local community. Affected employees are encouraged to seek assistance from state employment services and explore opportunities in other sectors. The company has not publicly disclosed specific reasons for these workforce reductions.
